Full disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and regulation. Includes movement service, case refinishing, gasket replacement, and water-resistance testing. Recommended every 3-5 years for mechanical watches.

Case Refinishing & Polishing

Professional case and bracelet refinishing to restore original luster. Careful polishing removes scratches while preserving case geometry and character. Available in brushed, polished, or combination finishes.

Mechanical & Automatic Watch Repair

Expert repair of damaged or non-functioning timepieces. From broken mainsprings to worn pivots, we restore your watch to factory specifications using genuine or period-correct replacement parts.

Water-Resistance Testing

Pressure testing to manufacturer specifications. We verify gasket integrity, crown sealing, and case-back compression to ensure your watch maintains its rated water resistance.

Demagnetization

Modern electronics — phone cases, laptop closures, speakers — can magnetize a watch movement, causing significant timekeeping errors. Demagnetization is quick, non-invasive, and often resolves accuracy issues immediately.

Our Complete Watch Service Process

Every watch that enters the Nicosia workshop follows a documented nine-step process from initial registration to final quality control. Nothing leaves until it meets the original manufacturer's functional and aesthetic specifications.

1

Initial Registration

Your watch is photographed, documented, and assigned a unique service number. We note existing condition, functions, and any cosmetic concerns you've mentioned.

2

Diagnostic Assessment

Complete evaluation of movement performance, power reserve, amplitude, and beat error. We identify all issues requiring attention and prepare a detailed estimate.

3

Estimate & Approval

You receive a comprehensive quote covering all recommended work. We explain findings, timeline, and pricing before proceeding.

4

Complete Disassembly

Every component is carefully removed, cataloged, and inspected. Worn or damaged parts are identified for replacement with genuine or period-correct alternatives.

5

Ultrasonic Cleaning

Movement components undergo multiple ultrasonic cleaning cycles to remove old lubricants, debris, and contaminants accumulated over years of operation.

6

Expert Reassembly

The movement is rebuilt with fresh lubrication applied to over 50 individual points. Each jewel, gear, and spring receives precise attention.

7

Regulation & Testing

Your watch is regulated across multiple positions to achieve optimal timekeeping. We test accuracy, power reserve, and amplitude over several days.

8

Case Service & Assembly

Case refinishing (if requested), gasket replacement, and careful reassembly. Crystal polishing or replacement as needed, ensuring water-resistance integrity.

9

Final Quality Control

Comprehensive inspection of all functions, cosmetic condition, and timekeeping performance. Each watch must meet strict standards before return to you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Watch Servicing & Repair

Can I watch you work on my timepiece?

While we cannot accommodate in-person observations during the detailed work, we're happy to discuss your watch's service requirements and explain our process before and after servicing.

What if my watch needs parts that are unavailable?

We have access to extensive parts networks and can often source discontinued components. For rare pieces, we can sometimes fabricate custom parts or recommend trusted specialists.

Do you offer rush service?

Expedited service may be available for an additional fee, depending on our current workload and parts availability. Contact us to discuss your timeline requirements.

Will servicing affect my watch's value?

Proper servicing by a qualified watchmaker maintains and can even increase value by ensuring the watch functions correctly. We understand collector concerns and can discuss refinishing options that preserve originality.

Can you service vintage watches?

Yes, we have extensive experience with vintage timepieces. We source period-correct parts when possible and can perform sympathetic restorations that preserve originality and collector value.

How much does watch servicing cost?

Service costs vary based on the movement type, brand, and required work. A basic automatic movement service typically starts at €250-400, while complex complications cost more. We provide detailed estimates before beginning any work.

What does your warranty cover?

All services include a 2-year warranty covering workmanship and replacement parts installed during service. This warranty does not cover damage from accidents, impact, or normal wear and tear occurring after service.

Do you service all watch brands?

Yes. We service luxury Swiss and high-end watch brands. Our specialty includes Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Breitling, and similar prestigious manufacturers.

How long does a complete service take?

Most services require 2-4 weeks, depending on parts availability and the complexity of your timepiece. Vintage watches or those requiring specialized components may take longer. We'll provide an accurate timeline with your estimate.

How often should I service my luxury watch?

Mechanical watches should be serviced every 3-5 years, depending on the manufacturer's recommendation and your wearing habits. Regular servicing prevents excessive wear and maintains accuracy and water resistance.

Caring for Your Luxury Watch

Proper care and maintenance allow your watch to run for decades while preserving its value.

Professional Cleaning Only

Never attempt to open your watch case or clean the movement yourself. Even dust particles can damage delicate components. Leave all internal servicing to qualified professionals.

Water Resistance Isn't Permanent

Gaskets dry out over time. Have water resistance tested annually if you swim or shower with your watch. Never operate the crown or pushers while your watch is wet or underwater.

Avoid Magnetic Fields

Keep your watch away from strong magnets found in speakers, phone cases with magnets, laptop magnetic closures, and refrigerator doors. Magnetization causes significant accuracy issues.

Schedule Regular Checkups

Don't wait for problems to appear. Regular servicing every 3-5 years prevents small issues from becoming expensive repairs and ensures water resistance remains intact.

Regular Winding & Wearing

Automatic watches need regular movement to stay lubricated. If you don't wear your watch daily, wind it manually once a week or use a quality watch winder to maintain the movement.

Proper Fit & Wearing

Your watch bracelet should fit comfortably with enough room to slide your pinky finger underneath. Too tight restricts circulation; too loose increases impact risk and wear on the bracelet.
